We micro-encapsulate live colony-forming kefir grains and suspend them in the products you use every day. The probiotic is kept separate from the surrounding liquid to prevent unwanted growth and opens when applied to the skin to repopulate the microbiome with beneficial probiotics supressing pathogen colonization.

Proof of Concept: Capsulent Technology

  • Capsulent technology keeps actives segregated and stabilized, even in harsh environments
  • Wall materials are stable to pH (2-12), temperature (freeze to 80C), shear, ethanol, and surfactants.

Methodology

Probiotic components were encapsulated using proprietary stabilization technology

Probiotic encap was combined with sanitizer products and mixed for 10 minutes.

Results duplicated after 30 days in 62% ethanol

Products were used per directions, and one sanitized finger was swiped across LB fortified agar plates.

Probiotic Retains Viability

Methodology

Prepare a serial dilution of the test organism to get a concentration of 10^4 CFU/ml

Soak a sterile disk in 0.1ml of probiotic and let it dry.

Place the soaked disk in an inoculated ager plate.

Incubate Candida Albicans (ATC 10231)/SDA plates @ 30-35C for 5-7 days.

Measure the diameter of the inhibition zone for three plates and take the average.

Methodology

Collect Ringworm spores from M canis Bodin using Trypticc Soy Broth (TSB011821)

Sterile disks were impregnated with probiotic and let it dry.

Place the soaked disk in an inoculated ager plate.

Incubate Microsporum canis Bodin (ATC 1162)/SDAE010821 plates @ 20-25C for 7 days.

Measure the diameter of the inhibition zone for three plates and take the average.
